Ingredients
1 red onion, peeled and quartered
1 garlic clove, peeled
3 chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
2 peppers (red or yellow, or one of each), deseeded and cut into strips
1 lime, juiced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp paprika powder
Step by step
Place the onion and garlic into the bowl of the Cookprocessor fitted with the Multiblade and pulse for 5 seconds. Remove the Multiblade and replace with the StirAssist.
Add the remaining ingredients and select FRY P1, increasing the time to 15 minutes. Press start to activate the programme.
This mixture is best served rolled inside tortillas.
You can use thinly sliced sirloin steak instead of the chicken to make beef fajitas.
