Having an issue with the steam wand on your Espresso Machine at home? Check the points below:
If the steam wand is not producing hot water/steam
This is most likely because the operating temperature has not been reached. Allow your machine to reach the operating temperature.
If the steam/hot water flows slowly from the steam wand
The steam wand is partially blocked. Remove the steam wand from espresso machine. Soak it in cleaning solution and use a pin to clear out the hole, then rinse with clear water.
Machine might need to be descaled. (How do you descale a coffee machine?)
