Surprising Strawberries!

This soup is amazing.  The pink color says “strawberry” but as soon as you taste it, you realize there’s so much more to the complex flavors than meets the eye. Use the powerful KitchenAid Artisan Blender to whip everything up for a smooth and velvety dessert that everyone loves!


  • 500 g strawberries, hulled
  • ¼ of a ripe pineapple, about 300g peeled, cored and cut into chunks
  • juice from 2 oranges, freshly squeezed
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • - garnish
  • - fresh mint
  • - fresh basil
  • - greek yoghurt
  • a few fresh strawberries

Prepare the fruit as described und put directly into the KitchenAid Artisan Blender pitcher.  Add the orange juice, coconut milk and sugar. Blend on speed 5 liquify for about 20 seconds until completely smooth. Chill for several hours to develop flavor.

To make the garnish, finely chop the herbs and stir into the yoghurt.

Serve soup well chilled with a dollop of herb-yoghurt and some sliced strawberries on top. Enjoy!
