Ingredients

400 g white bread flour

15 g salt

150 g sourdough starter

1 tsp instant yeast

200 ml water, lukewarm

Step by step

  1. Add flour, salt, yeast and sourdough started to the Baking Bowl fitted with the Dough Hook.

  2. Mix on speed 1 and slowly stream in the water. Mix until a firm, smooth and elastic dough forms.

  3. Shape the dough into a ball, place in the Baking Bowl and cover with the Lid. Let rest for at least 3 hours.

  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Shape the bread by folding the sides of the dough onto itself.

  5. Place on a baking paper lined Baking Lid and cover with the Baking Bowl. Let proof for at leas 2 hours.

  6. Score the bread and bake for 35 minutes in a 230° preheated oven. Remove the Baking Bowl after 35 minutes and bake for 10 more until a golden crust appears.
