Ingredients

500 g carrot

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

50 ml maple syrup

6 sprig thyme

3 garlic clove

Step by step

  1. Peel the carrots. Feed them through the feeding tube of the Food Processor fitted with the Adjustable Slicing Disk.

  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the carrots slices and season with pepper and salt. Sautee for 10 minutes over medium heat until the carrots get golden brown edges.

  3. Crush the garlic cloves and add them to the pan. Run the thyme between your thumb and index finger to pick as much leaves from the stems as possible. Add the thyme to the pan. Pour in the maple syrup. Let simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes until the carrots are fork tender and the syrup is caramelized.
