Ingredients
250 g beef mince, pork, dark chicken meat or dark turkey meat
60-120 ml water
200 g cooked brown rice, cooled
Step by step
Heat meat and water in frying pan over medium heat and cook, stirring, until meat is cooked through and no pinkness remains for about 4 minutes. Drain meat in sieve placed over bowl. Reserve cooking liquid. Let meat and liquid cool for about 10 minutes.
Combine cooked meat and rice in blender jar of the KitchenAid ARTISAN Power Plus Blender. Secure lid and pulse 3 to 5 times on high to chop ingredients to chunky purée. Or increase speed slightly (Speed 2 or 3) and purée ingredients, using the Flex Edge tamper to push down ingredients, until smooth for about 1 minute. If purée is too stiff, add cooking liquid as needed to thin.
Store in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 days or in freezer for up to 3 months.
