Learn to make this flavorous chutney at home.

Ingredients
1 tsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1 onion
5 cm ginger root, peeled and in cubes
1 tsp garlic, minced
1,5 kg mango
100 g golden raisins
60 g sugar
170 ml white vinegar
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
Step by step
Attach the Food Processor attachment fitted with the dicing kit to the stand mixer. Peel the onion and push it through on speed 6. Set aside.
Peel the mango and remove the stone. Chop it in the Food Processor attachment on speed 4. Set aside.
Heat the vegetable oil and the red chili flakes in a pot over medium heat.
Add chopped onion to the pan and cook until onion is translucent and soft. Add ginger and garlic and cook for another minute.
Add chopped mango, golden raisins, sugar, white vinegar, garam masala, mustard seeds, and salt. Stir well to combine, and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce heat and allow to simmer up to an hour until chutney resembled a thick syrup.
Place in a clean glass jar and allow to cool completely to room temperature before covering and storing in the fridge.
