Ingredients

1/2 onion

1 red bell pepper

1/2 garlic clove

1/2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp dried marjoram

250 g beef

200 g canned chopped tomatoes

200 ml vegetable stock

200 g red kidney beans

Step by step

  1. Attach the Food Processor fitted with dicing kit attachment on the stand mixer.

  2. Peel and quarter the onion. Remove the ribs and seeds from the red peppers and cut them into quarters.

  3. Put the vegetables in the food processor and dice on speed 6.

  4. Finely chop garlic. Add olive oil to a hot pan and add the chopped vegetables.

  5. Tip in the paprika, ground cumin and dried marjoram. Give it a good stir, then leave it to cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. Attach the Metal Food Grinder attachment (coarse grinding plate) on the stand mixer and grind the beef on speed 4.

  7. Add the meat to the pan and break it up with your spoon. Cook till there are no more pink bits on the meat.

  8. Add the stock and chopped tomatoes. Stir the sauce well and let it simmer gently for about 20 minutes.

  9. Add the red kidney beans and let it cook for another 5 minutes.

  10. Serve with rice, sour cream, avocado and tortilla chips.
