Cherry tomato chutney
Tools
Ingredients
335 g cherry tomatoes
165 g red onions, quartered
2/3 tsp chilli flakes
1/3 tsp paprika powder
1/8 tsp ground cardamon
85 g light brown sugar
100 ml red wine vinegar
Step by step
Place all of the ingredients into the bowl of the Cookprocessor fitted with Multiblade. Pulse for 10 seconds until the tomatoes and onions are roughly chopped.
Replace the Multiblade with the StirAssist. Select STEW P2 and press start to activate the programme.
The chutney needs to be stored in sterilised jars. Once opened use within two weeks.
If you like your chutney spicy add 1 or 2 red chillies to the recipe which will add a good kick.
If you grow tomatoes and have some unripe green tomatoes make a mixed tomato chutney, adding some dried fruit for added sweetness.
