Before you first use it, charge the battery until the indicator turns green. That will take 2 hours. You’ll see the battery status indicator pulse while it’s charging and then turn green when it’s full.
Choosing the right accessory
With a choice of accessories depending on the model, you can do so much more than just blend liquids. Simply press the variable speed controller to start and remember to never immerse the motor body into mixtures.
The blending arm
Blend smoothies, milkshakes, soups, baby food and more with the efficient 4-point stainless steel blade. Tip: don’t use your blending arm for more than 1 minute.
The chopper attachment
Turn your blender into a chopper to cut anything from beef, onion and carrots to nuts, garlic and cheese.
The whisk attachment
Transform your blender into a whisk for perfectly whipped cream, mayonnaise, mousse or vinaigrettes. Tip: don’t use your whisk continuously for more than 1 minute.
The blending jar
The handy BPA-free blending jar is ideal for blending, serving and storing in a single container. Simply close the lid and it’s ready to go in the fridge to be enjoyed later.
How to use the blending arm
Insert the blending arm into the motor body and twist until it clicks and locks in place. Great news, you’re ready to start creating!
Pan guard
Pop the pan guard on to the blending arm to prevent scratching your cookware and pots. Make sure the mounting clips are secured into place.
Drawing up
Slowly draw up the blender to move ingredients around to get your desired consistency.
Blending
Dip the hand blender into your mixture and press the variable speed controller to start. Use your free hand to cover the top of the blending pitcher for better stability and to avoid splashing.
Wrist movement
Make circular movements to draw the hand blender up slightly and perfectly blend ingredients.
