  • 1,5 slicesstale bread
  • 1/2 teaspoonfine sea salt
  • 1 teaspoonground paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoondried onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoondried garlic powder
  • 60 gall-purpose flour
  • 1 largeeggs, beaten
  • 225 gthick white fish fillet, cut into 4 pieces
  • 1,5 tablespoonsbutter, melted
  • 3 slicesstale bread
  • 1 teaspoonfine sea salt
  • 2 teaspoonsground paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoondried onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoondried garlic powder
  • 120 gall-purpose flour
  • 2 largeeggs, beaten
  • 450 gthick white fish fillet, cut into 8 pieces
  • 3 tablespoonsbutter, melted
  • 4,5 slicesstale bread
  • 1,5 teaspoonsfine sea salt
  • 3 teaspoonsground paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoondried onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoondried garlic powder
  • 180 gall-purpose flour
  • 3 largeeggs, beaten
  • 675 gthick white fish fillet, cut into 12 pieces
  • 4,5 tablespoonsbutter, melted
Make it now
  • Step 1

    Break the stale bread into large pieces and place it in the food processor.

  • Step 2

    Pulse till the bread is finely crumbled. Add salt, ground paprika, dried onion powder and dried garlic powder and briefly pulse 3 more times. Place into a shallow dish.

  • Step 3

    Place flour into a separate shallow dish.

  • Step 4

    Place beaten eggs into a third shallow dish.

  • Step 5

    Dip fish first into the flour to lightly coat it. Coat fish with beaten eggs. Dip the fish in the bread mix.

  • Step 6

    Pour melted butter in an ovenproof pan. Add the fish. Bake for 20 minutes in a 170°C pre-heated oven.

  • Step 7

    Turn and bake another 5 minutes until the coating is crispy and the fish is cooked through.
