  • 480 mlfiltered water
  • 75 gtoasted black sesame seeds, plus more to serve
  • 70 graw unsalted cashews
  • 2tablespoons rolled oats
  • 2tablespoons chinese rock sugar

  • Step 1

    Pour the water, sesame seeds, cashews, oats, and sugar into the blender jar of the KitchenAid® Power Plus® Blender.

  • Step 2

    Secure the lid and set the blender to the Adapti-Blend™ Soup program.

  • Step 3

    Blend until the machine turns itself off.

  • Step 4

    Alternatively, blend for 4 minutes, starting on speed 1 and gradually increasing to speed 11.

  • Step 5

    The soup will come out of the blender hot.

  • Step 6

    Serve topped with toasted sesame seeds, crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or cooked red beans. (The soup will thicken and develop the skin when sitting.)
