KitchenAid for women

Cook for the Cure is an initiative started in 2001 to provide food and KitchenAid enthusiasts alike the opportunity to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. The association's aim is to raise awareness among women, while promoting the importance of prevention and reducing the barriers to quality care. Following the initiative's success in the United States, the Cook for the Cure program was expanded to Europe. Part of the proceeds for any small, limited edition appliance—first available in pale pink and then later in bright metallic fuscia—sold went to the Breast Cancer Foundation, an international association with members including the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Italy and Germany, Breast Cancer Heaven in the UK, "Cancer du sein: Parlons-en" in France and the Pink Ribbon and Think Pink campaigns in Holland and Belgium.
Pink: a symbol of hope.
The pink ribbon symbolising breast cancer awareness inspired the new Metallic Fuscia collection. Thanks to its undeniable charm and bright trendy finish, the line is sure to bring a smile to those fighting the disease every day. The proceeds will continue to support scientific research to find a cure for breast cancer.
